The Movement Café is a culinary activation that extends the FP Movement brand into a physical space where fitness, wellness, and community intersect. Designed as a post-workout gathering place and everyday neighborhood café, it reflects FP Movement’s “studio to street” lifestyle.

More than just a café, The Movement Café acts as a hub for connection, encouraging people to refuel, recharge, and move together through shared experiences, community events, and a welcoming environment rooted in wellness, inclusivity, and joy.

+ Concept Ideation + World Building + Culinary Activation

This project is a conceptual case study developed to explore experiential brand opportunities for FP Movement.

The layout encourages gathering, whether through communal seating, relaxed lounge areas, or spaces designed for conversation after workouts and classes. Community-driven experiences, such as post-run meetups, yoga socials, and wellness workshops, bring the brand’s “Move Together” philosophy to life, transforming the café into a place where movement, creativity, and connection naturally intersect.

The brand design of The Movement Café draws directly from Free People’s signature aesthetic.

Earthy, expressive, and effortlessly relaxed.

Soft, sun-washed colors, organic textures, and handcrafted details reflect the brand’s bohemian roots while feeling fresh and active in the context of FP Movement.

Attention to detail extends beyond the café’s interior and brand materials into every touchpoint of the culinary experience.

The FP Movement logo serves as the foundation for The Movement Café’s visual identity. Rather than redesigning the mark, its core elements are preserved and thoughtfully expanded upon to create a version that feels specific to the café while remaining unmistakably FP Movement.
